Course Description

This half-day (4 hour) course is designed for individuals seeking recertification to engage in lead-based paint activities.  This refresher course was developed by the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency’s Office of Pollution Prevention and Toxics, in partnership with the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development’s Office of Healthy Homes and Lead Hazard Control. 
 

Topics Covered

The course meets the EPA Renovation, Repair, and Painting (RRP) Rule requirements for Certified Renovator refresher training, and is specifically designed to meet the training needs of persons who have previously completed a HUD- or EPA-approved lead-safe work practices training course, and now need to become Certified Renovators.

Prerequisites

Prerequisites: Lead Renovator, Repair, and Painting Initial course.

**Please submit a copy of your most recent Certification 48 hours prior to the class start date to verify you are eligible for this course.

If you took your most recent training with MSU CCE, you do not have to submit a copy.
