Who can I contact with general inquiries about my courses or future courses?

You can reach us via our Contact Form, via e-mail at cce@lists.msstate.edu, or via phone at (662) 325-5002.

Support is available Monday-Friday, 8am-5pm Central.

When trying to register for my course(s), I get a message asking for a Bypass Code.

If you are being prompted for a Bypass Code:

  1. Go to netpassword.msstate.edu.
  2. Click Generate a Multi-Factor (or Two-Factor) Authentication Bypass Code under Multi-Factor (or Two-Factor) Maintenance.
  3. Enter your NetID/NetPassword, then click Login.
  4. Enter your Birth Date and MSU ID Number or Social Security Number, then click Submit.
  5. Enter the answer to your security question, then click Submit.
  6. Your bypass code will be displayed and is valid for 24 hours.
I’ve successfully registered and purchased my course, but I do not see it in Canvas?

Please allow up to 2 hours for your course to appear in your Canvas dashboard. After that period it has not appeared, please notify us at techsupport@distance.msstate.edu.

I need to pay my invoice(s) for my course(s).

In order to pay for your invoice(s), please use the following steps:

  1. Go to https://noncredit.msstate.edu and login.

  2. On the Student Home page, in the leftmost menu you should see My Invoices. Select that option.

  3. Select the checkbox for all of the courses that you are going to pay for then select Pay Selected Invoices.

  4. Confirm the full payment amount is correct then select Continue to Payment.

  5. Should get a Policy Confirmation screen. Check to confirm that you understand the policy, then select Continue Checkout.

  6. You should now be on the QuikPAY page where you can enter the credit information for your courses.

I did the initial registration steps, but I have yet to receive additional information on how to access my account.

If you have not received your account information, please allow up to 24 hours from your initial registration. If after that period you have not received your account information, please contact us at techsupport@distance.msstate.edu.

I believe I previously had an account with Mississippi State University, but I do not remember my credentials.

If you believe you previously had an account with Mississippi State University, but do not remember your information, you can recover it by proceeding through creating an account as a new user.

I have forgotten my password to sign into the registration portal and/or Canvas.

You can reset your password at the sign in page by selecting Reset your NetPassword and following the prompts to verify your identity.

If you have locked your account, please contact techsupport@distance.msstate.edu for additional assistance.

When attempting to sign into the registration portal and/or Canvas, I get an error message.

You may need to reset your password. Please use the Reset your NetPassword link at the bottom of the sign in page and try again.

If you need additional assistance, please send an e-mail to techsupport@distance.msstate.edu and a screenshot of the error message you are receiving.
