Welcome to Mississippi State University's official non-credit registration portal. Whether you are a returning or new user you will need to set up your account in our system. This account will be called your NetID and this guide will walk you through the steps to create your NetID and setup your NetPassword. Let’s get started!

  1. Go to https://noncredit.msstate.edu and select the Login button at the top right. Select “Student Login”.
  2. On the “Log-In to Student Portal” page you will find two options to continue your registration 
    • Users with previous affiliation to Mississippi State University (student, employee, affiliate, prospective, etc.)

      1. Log in under the section labelled “I have an account already”. 
      2. You will need to remember your NetID to log in. If you do not remember your NetID, please utilize the “I am a new user” section. 
    • New Users

      1. For new users, register via the “I am a new user” section. Proceed by entering your primary e-mail address then selecting Create Account.
      2. On the Contact Information page, please complete the form. All required fields (denoted by a red *) must be filled before the form can be submitted.
      3. Once you have submitted the form, please allow for up to an hour for a follow-up e-mail containing your new username (NetID) and msu id. This e-mail will contain additional information on how to create your password (NetPassword), setting up your security questions, and get configured with our Two-Factor Authentication service DUO. 
        • IMPORTANT: Please make sure to remember your security questions as those will be used to verify your identity when needing to reset/recover information for your account. 
        • Additionally, make sure to favorite/star/save the follow up e-mail sent to you with your NetID and MSU ID information.
      4. After successfully creating your password and getting configured with DUO Two-Factor Authentication, you can now log in at the Noncredit portal under the I have an account already section. 
  3. Once logged in, you should see your Student Home Profile, where you can check your account history, past and current enrollments, and access certificates. You can now proceed to the course purchasing section.
